About ANLCA
About Us
The Association of Nigeria Customs Licensed Agents (ANLCA) stands as the oldest and largest professional body representing clearing and forwarding practitioners in Nigeria. The National Executive Committee is primarily responsible for fostering the growth, unity, and long-term stability of the association.
Working in collaboration with its various chapters, the national body actively champions the development of its members through strategic advocacy and structured engagement. It provides responsive leadership and operational direction, equipping chapter executives with clear policy guidelines to enhance local impact.
Under the strategic oversight of the Board of Trustees, the National Executive—operating through zonal and chapter leadership—continues to play a pivotal role in promoting and advancing the interests of freight forwarders across Nigeria.

Our Core Purpose
01.
Unified Voice of Freight Forwarders
We are the recognized voice for corporate freight forwarding companies operating in and around Nigeria’s port complexes, representing thousands of licensed Customs brokers and freight forwarders. With such a large and critical membership base, it is essential to have a unified platform to advocate for collective growth and progress
02.
Collective Solutions to Industry Challenges
The Association exists to recommend practical and effective solutions to the challenges facing its members—particularly those arising from interactions with government agencies such as the Nigeria Customs Service, other key stakeholders, and the broader trading community. Addressing these complex issues would be nearly impossible for individual companies to tackle alone.
03.
Advocating Locally, Connecting Globally
The Association ensures its members receive consistent and effective representation in key forums that influence their business operations, including legislative processes that shape industry policy. Given the global nature of freight forwarding, ANLCA also collaborates with counterpart associations across several countries to advance shared professional interests.
